"Devotions" is a word with about as much sizzle as "Montgomery Ward." It just sounds dated. It also implies that the thrust of the Christian life should be primarily religious and otherworldly.
We at Robinwood believe strongly in the supernatural realm and the power that flows from the Kingdom, which is a spiritual reality.
But we don't see our daily spiritual check-in as being in a different life-drawer from relationships, money, jobs/vocations, health and emotions.
Jesus came to dwell in the flesh and the Word has to become flesh in our lives too.

MoIt is Latin. Translated: With joy let us drink the sober intoxication of the Spirit.
Sober intoxication.
The great thing about Spirit intoxication (as opposed to alcohol) is that things get clearer the more we lose ourselves in the Holy Spirit. The opposite of "impaired," we get empowered.
Things become clear, not fuzzy, to those who float in the Holy Spirit flotation tank.
We get insight, visions, dreams, words, prophecies through Spirit intoxication.
All we get with intoxication of alcohol is stupidity!
Let yourselves get intoxicated today.
A sober intoxication.

What an amazing worship service! Just left Robinwood Church and the spirit was surely there. Never have I seen or heard people clap when the anouncement was made to collect the offering.
